Donna was born in Helena, Montana on July 30, 1942 to Ben Lordemann and Esther Salvas Lordemann, the second of six children. She was a third generation native Helenan who attended St. Helena Grade School and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1960.
Donna married her best friend and lifelong love, Harley Warner on February 17th, 1962 at the St. Helena Cathedral. They made their home in Helena. Donna remained at home to raise their three children, Michael, Janine, and Shawn. She also welcomed and nurtured other children along with her own. She enjoyed many activities with family and friends including camping, boating, skiing, and bowling. Lifelong friendships were developed during these years.
As the children matured, Donna began her career as an Administrator for the State of Montana Central Payroll Division, where she worked for more than 25 years. She was a dedicated professional who was respected by those she worked with.
Donna was able to retire early with Harley, and they enjoyed wintering in Yuma, Arizona, where close friends, new and old, gathered to enjoy golf, bingo, card games, and camaraderie.
Family was very important to Donna and she was devoted to her grown children and grandchildren whom she visited often. She was an avid reader who also kept busy with crossword puzzles, dice games, and family card games. The day couldn't really start until the crossword was complete. She carried on the legacy of raucous card games around the dinner table, which Donna often won. Her dedication to family was evidenced by her close relationship with her mother-in-law Frances Landwehr, who shares her love for games and laughter.
Donna was member of St. Mary's Catholic Church for many years, before joining the congregation at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. She was a member of the local chapter of The Women of the Moose. Donna was also an active member of the Bill Roberts Women's Golf League.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Esther Lordemann, and her brother, Paul Lordemann.
Donna is survived by her husband Harley Warner; her children Michael Warner (Kristen), Janine Kotan (Kevin), and Shawn Warner (Lisa); and her grandchildren Tyler Warner, Tabatha Warner, Daniel Warner, Bradley Warner, Andrew Kotan, Alex Kotan, Jacob Graham, and Eric Graham. She is also survived by her siblings Catherine Foster (Steven), Bernard Lordemann, David Lordemann (Mei), and Sharon Tregidga (Ed); and numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
