Mrs. Leova Wade, 80, widow of James Wade, 642 Cable Street died at 3:30 pm Tuesday in Van Wert County Hospital. She had been in ill health for some time.
The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Simpson and was born June 9, 1883, at Pineville, Kentucky. She was employed at the Van Wert Plant of DWG until 1943. Mrs. Wade was a member of Calvary Baptist Chapel.
She is survived by two daughters, Edith Sharp Miller of E Lincoln Highway and Effie lee Crawford Pineville, Kentucky; two brothers, Garfield Simpson, Middlesboro Kentucky, and Harvey Simpson, Jennings Road. Five sisters, Mrs. Dora Partin, N Walnut Street, Mrs. Roxie Gibson, Frothingham Street, Miss Rachel Simpson and Miss Virgie Simpson, Crow's Trailer Court and Mrs. Parrie Gampher, Convoy; 18 grandchildren and 19 Great-grandchildren. Three sons are deceased.

Rites will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the Alspach Funeral Home, the Rev. Ralph Holbrook officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Thursday.
