Eberly (Kunkler) Mary Ann (Kunkler) Eberly, age 86, passed away November 1, 2015 at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor. She was born August 5, 1929 in Junction City, Ohio to the late John Ambrose and Marie Kunkler. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Mary of the Springs College and received her B.A. in Elementary Education. She taught at Christ the King School for 25 years and in the Parish Religious Education Program for 35 years. She served Christ the King Parish as a Eucharistic Minister, delivered Communion to the homebound and volunteered for the St. Vincent de Paul Society. She also volunteered at the Holy Family Soup Kitchen. She was especially devoted to and supportive of her children and grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband John G. Eberly, brothers Bernard and Alfred (Kay) Kunkler, son-in-law Wayne Mally and special friends Jane and Henry O'Neill. Survived by children, Mary Jo Mally, John J. (Kanita) Eberly, Ellen (Joe) Morris, James Eberly, Thomas Eberly, Stephen (Connie) Eberly and Jane (Lonny) Seitzer; grandchildren, Robert Jendanklang, Tracy Seitzer, Katie (Darren) Schroeder, John (Abby) Mally, Trisha (Damon) Buchanan, Stephen Mally, Angela (Daniel) Drake, Nicholas Eberly and fiance Brittany Jones, Rosie Eberly, Julia Eberly, Carolyn Morris, Timothy Seitzer, Michael Eberly, Jacob Eberly, Hannah Eberly, Jennifer Eberly and Leah Eberly; great-grand-children, Dominik Seitzer, Haley and Aiden Jendanklang, Austin and Cameron Kraner, Caroline and Claire Mally, Joseph Buchanan and Brittany, Debera and Taylor Schroeder; sisters, Imelda Smeltzer; brothers, Ambrose (Cora) Kunkler, William (Donna) Kunkler, Harold (Judy) Kunkler, Gordon Kunkler and Lewis (Carol) Kunkler; sisters-in-law, Sr. Johanna Eberly, OP., Mary Ann Smith and Ann Kunkler; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 East Broad Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 2777 East Livingston Avenue. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
