MRS. LAUDERBACK DEAD
Ida A. Baldock, the oldest of eight daughters of John and Sarah Baldock, was born November 3, 1874, and departed this life at her home near
Moulton, Iowa, January 20, 1928, at nine a. m., at the age of 53 years, 2 months and 17 days.
She was married to Samuel J. Horn December 11, 1901, who departed this life July 16, 1920. She accepted Christ as her Savior and united with the
Christian church, when quite young and remained a faithful member until God called her home. After Mr. Horn's death she left the farm and
moved to Moulton. There she spent most of her time, lending a helping hand to aid those in need, which was a great pleasure to her. Her smile and kind words won many friends.
She was again married to Henry E. Lauderback, August 23, 1926, then moved back to the farm. Their happiness of a few month's was marred by
ill health, and though he cared for her and did everything that mind and loving hands could, God saw best to call her home. She leaves to mourn
besides her companion, her mother, Mrs. Sarah Baldock, of Fleming, Colo., and four sisters, Mrs. Nora Forsythe, Mountain Grove, Mo., Mrs. Effie Park Hartford, Kan., Mrs. Ada Weaber, Sheridan Lake, Colo., Mrs. Rilla Grayham,
Fleming, Colo. Three sisters and father have preceded her in death, an infant sister, Olive, Mrs. Lou Evans, and Mrs. Julia Probasco. A sad incident is that Mrs. Probasco, of Fleming, Colo., died just three days before Mrs. Lauderback.
Funeral services were held from the Methodist church, Sunday afternoon, January 22, conducted by Rev. Lloyd Ellis, with interment in Oakland cemetery.
