Michael Roy Altom, 16, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Houma, died 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Visitation is continuing until 10 p.m. today at Falgout-McCleary Funeral Home, resuming 8 am Tuesday and continuing until funeral time.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial following in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Altom Jr.; three brothers, Bret Wayne; John Bart and Gerald D. Altom; his grandmothers, Mrs. Doris Altom of Henderson, Texas and Mrs. Ada Nell of Hardin, Texas; his great-grandparents, Mrs. Domalice Dupre of Marksville, La., Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Altom of Fort Worth, Texas and Mrs. Odie Dunn of Baytown, Texas.
