Marie E. Wadeson, 92, West Fargo, ND passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Farmstead Estates, Moorhead, MN. Marie was born February 20, 1923 in Argusville, North Dakota to Harry and Irene (Daschner) Schafer. She graduated from Argusville High School. She went to work in the Manchester Building for Nabisco after graduating. She traveled with her sisters throughout the country before marrying Desmond Wadeson on June 28, 1952 in Fargo. She was an active member of the West Fargo VFW Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed bowling and attending her grandson, Matt, in all his sports activities, especially hockey. She most loved spending time with family and friends and her daughters were extremely important to her. She is survived by her children, Deborah (David) Ludwig, Fargo, ND, Laurie (Bruce) Haukedahl, Detroit Lakes, MN; grandchildren, James Ludwig, Mitchell Ludwig, Jacob Ludwig, Justin Burchill, Chanin (Paul) Greene, Tawni (Zach) Haukedahl, Seth (Mindy) Haukedahl; great-grandchildren, Koryna, Jakob, Caden, Jaxon, Chase, Holly, Greigh, Mazie, Mavrick, Cale, Beckett; great-great grandchild, Isabella and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Desmond in 2003, grandson, Matt in 2001, brothers, LuVerne Schafer and Harry Schafer, sisters, Kathryn Oleson, Marjorie Meyers, Dolores King and son-in-law, James Brandser in 1999.
