Rita had been employed as a data processor at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1993.
A resident of North Scituate for forty-two years, Mrs. Hunt moved to Hampton, NH in 2000.
She is survived by four daughters, two sons, two sisters, eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
She was the sister of the late Janine Roy.
