Rebecca Burns passed away on Friday, Oct. 30, 2015, at 5 a.m.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 67 years on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers.

Rebecca was born on Feb. 22, 1948, to Johnnie and Marie Baxter in Floydada, Texas.

She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 49 years, Ricky Burns; daughter, Amy Burns-Copeland and grandchildren, Trent, Blake and Ashlyn; son, Ryan Burns and wife Jordan and grandchildren, Leah and Matthew; her sister, Gail White; beloved mother-in-law, Loretta Burns; three sisters-in-law and their husbands, Sherry and Clifford Hacker, Rhonda and Larry Guthrie and Sheryl and Earnest Back; many loved nieces, nephews and friends, and her special care-giver and friend, Effie Polk.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Judy Bollman; and brothers-in-law Wiley Bollman and Larry White. Memorials may be made to Interim Hospice, 3305 101st St. Suite 100, Lubbock, TX 79423.
