Roger D. Jacobs, 75 of Jackson Twp., passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015. Roger was born in Lowell Ridge, Ohio on January 3, 1940, the son of the late Harold and Mary (Camden) Jacobs. Roger was a 1958 graduate of Strasburg High School. He was a United States Air Force veteran. Roger was a volunteer fireman for the Jackson Twp. fire department. He retired from Republic Steel in 2002 after 28 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, bowling, watching sporting events, especially the Browns, Cavs and Indians as well as the Buckeyes. Roger loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jacobs in 2010, his sisters, Ruth Ciesielczyk and Martha Jacobs and his brother Paul Jacobs.
He is survived by his children Dr. Gary (Cynthia) Jacobs of Massillon, Cary Jacobs of Russiaville, IN, and Sharon Jacobs of Canton; his grandchildren, Allison, Michael, Bethany, Courtney, and MacKenzie; and his brothers, Leroy and Kenneth Jacobs.

Entombment will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
