Linda R. Kreider, 58, of Wolcottville, was born on Nov. 1, 1956, in Kendallville, to Burl and Helen (Keck) Clark. Linda was a 1974 graduate of Bryan High School in Bryan, Ohio. She went on to graduate in 1984 from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.
Living most of her lifetime in the Bryan and Wolcottville areas, she was a member of Topeka Baptist Church in Topeka and taught Sunday school there for many years. She made Christmas baskets for the Franklin Graham’s Samaritan’s Purse, enjoyed Dallas Bay Book Club, was an elaborate party thrower, Master Gardener, and did interior design.
Linda was currently working at S&H Metal in Topeka and had worked in the past for Micor-Age Computer Stores in Tempe, Tite-Lok, Bahama Mama’s, and The Fast Lane all in Topeka and Kreider Manufacturing in Ligonier.
On February 14, 1992 in Wolcottville, she married Richard Amos Kreider who survives. Also surviving is her mother, Helen Baird, five children and their spouses, Larry Daniel and Lisa Kreider, Christopher and Tonya Kreider, Amiee Kvasir, Megan and Lewis LaPlante, and Eric Kreider; four grandchildren, and six sisters and brothers-in-law, Jan and Gary Bollinger, Nancy and Kenny Helzel, Kelly and Bill Ward, Marie and David Burc, Sandy and Bert Babcock, BurlAnn and John Brown. Her father Burl Clark preceded her in death.
