Mrs. Wright was a member of Second Baptist Church in Clinton. She was the owner of Wright grocery store and a teacher.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Weatherford and Bonnie Gibson; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Franklin Wright Jr.; two sisters; and one brother. Her parents were Paul and Sadie Mims White.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Ed Gibson officiating. Burial will be at Columbus Cemetery.
