Miller, David Z. , son of Martin L. Miller and Elizabeth Zimmerman, was born at Bainbridge, Pa., Apr. 18, 1881; died at the Harrisburg (Pa.) Hospital, July 27, 1971; aged 90 y. 3 m. 9 d. In 1903 he was married to Susie Fisher Ebersole, who preceded him in death Jan. 1959. Surviving are 2 daughters (Edith - Mrs. Arthur Espenshade and Elizabeth - Mrs. John Longenecker), 5 sons (Menno David, Ira, Martin, and Samuel), 3 brothers (Ira Z., Reuben, and Benjamin), and 2 sisters (Anna - Mrs. Willis Hirsh and Frances - Mrs. Stoner Krady). He was preceded in death by 4 children (Sue -Mrs. Nathan Landvater, Ernest and twins: Mary and Martha). In 1905 he was ordained minister for the Strickler and Shope congregations of the Elizabethtown District of Lancaster Conference. He was a member of the Strickler Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held July 30, in charge of Russel Zeager andRussell J. Baer; interment in Goods Mennonite Cemetery.
