Leslie Eugene Beck of Clemmons, NC, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at home after a lengthy illness. Born March 2, 1925 in Littlestown, PA, he was the son of the late Reverend Samuel Washington Beck and Daisy Lois Barrier Beck. He was predeceased by twin brother, Lloyd Raymond Beck; sisters: Helen Lupper, Lois Hanling, Adelaide Sheaffer, and Virginia Rahn. He graduated in 1943 from Littlestown High School, Littlestown, PA and served in the Army during World War II in Czechoslovakia and France. He retired from L. M. Berry Co. after 27 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lou Salmons Beck; son, Richard Allen Beck of Franklin, TN; daughter Joan (Joni) Leslie Beck of O’Fallon, MO; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or service at his request. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1900 S.
