Funeral services with military honors were held for Thomas Jefferson Sykes, 60, of Lucedale, on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Rocky Creek Baptist Church.
Interment followed in Rocky Creek Cemetery with Rev. Greg Barker officiating the services.
A veteran of U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam, a member of Oil and Gas Exploration MS Seismic Service Corps ad a member of the Baptist faith, he died November 11.
He is survived by his son Greg (Crisitin) Sykes; mother Lugene Eubanks, sister Gloria (Mike) Havard, four grandchildren and one great grandchild, all of Lucedale.
He was preceded in death by his father,
Dick Eubanks and sister Claudie Mae Howell.
