STORM LAKE PILOT TRIBUNE - Fri, Sep 21, 1917 - Nancy Ruth Storck, the 10 years old daughter of Mr and Mrs M.H. Storck, died at the family home on Oneida street at 8 Tuesday evening.
The little girl had complained to her mother of not feeling well but she attended school as usual until last Friday when her condition became alarming that evening and a physician was called who pronounced the trouble acute diabetes. During the last two days of her life she was in a state of coma from which she never rallied.
Nancy was the pride of the happy household where she was the only daughter and there has come the greatest gloom to the fond parents and the three brothers: Dean, Max, and Oscar.
She was born in Battle Creek Sept 12, 1907. The Storck family came to Storm Lake about 5 years ago from Sac City and Nancy was a familiar figure. She was a bright little miss and family and friends alike will miss her greatly.
The funeral services will he held at the Lakeside Presbyterian church Friday afternoon.
