Mrs. Martha Brest Soliday, aged 84, widow of John Soliday, died at her home in Mercer Wednesday evening, following a long illness.

Mrs. Soliday was born at Fredonia, Mercer county, in 1855, the daughter of David and Catherine Brest.

She spent her entire lifetime in Mercer county.

Surviving is one brother, Henderson Brest, of Mercer, and a number of nieces and nephews in Mercer and Lawrence county.

Funeral services will take place from the Miller funeral home in Mercer at 3:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, with burial in Findley Cemetery.
