Mrs J A Halliburton, 84, Route 2, Honey Grove, died Monday, Dec 8 1976, in a local hospital.

Funeral services were held Thrusday afternoon in the Cooper-Sorrels Chapel in Honey Grove, with the Rev Bob Lee officiating. Internment was made in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Lora Bowles Halliburton was born Nov 5, 1892, in Forest Hill, daughter of Mr & Mrs Cass Bowles.

She married Mr Halliburton, who preceded her in death on July 24, 1976.

She was a member of the Forest Hill United Methodist Church. She had been a resident of Leisure Lodge Nursing Home about three years.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs John C Sullivan of Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister, Mrs Jane Mills of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three grandsons and eight great-grandchildren.
