Eliza Buck was born in Dearborn county, Ind. Feb. 29, 1844. At the age of 20 she was married to Henry Wetzel who died many years ago. Her second marriage was to Joseph Miller and five children were born to this union, all of whom, with the husband, have preceded her in death. Her last marriage was to Henry Williams on May 16, 1893. He died in 1908.
Surviving are one granddaughters, Mrs. Nellie Roderick of Decatur; four stepchildren, Mrs.Dora Saveley, Mrs. Lilah Sharp, Mrs. Lizzie Stephens of Cleveland, Ohio and Ed. Williams of Clinton; three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Groves, Mrs. Mary Ricks of Clinton, Mrs. Lucretia Malone of Wapella; two brothers, Benjamin Buck and Carter Buck of near Clinton.
Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
