Mrs. Spencer was a member of the Collinsville Church of Christ and retired from the Henry County Public Schools.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeneane and husband Larry Guilliams of Collinsville, VA, Nancy and husband Jack Beavers of Collinsville, VA and Virginia “Cookie” Spencer of New Jersey; sons, Brad Spencer and wife Renee of Oklahoma City, Ok and James Spencer of Martinsville, VA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The memorial service will be held on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Collinsville Church of Christ, Collinsville, VA with Ministers Troy Hollandsworth and Donald Kendrick. Visitation will be on Monday, November 2, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the church. A private burial will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
