Teresa Lynn "Terri" Kimmen was born on December 5, 1962 to Gary Leroy and Judith Anne (Mehan) Wilbur in Lincoln, Nebraska.
She attended Lincoln High School and graduated with the Class of 1981. She also attended Southeast Community College to get her CNA.
On March 1, 1986 she became the proud mother of Sarah Anne.
On November 19, 1993 she was united in marriage to Michael Charles Kimmen, Jr. in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Terri was employed at American Signature Printing for a few years. She also worked for Tabitha Health Care Services for 17 years, working as a CNA and working in the medical records department. She also worked as a bartender and was a waitress at a few bars in Lincoln, namely "Jacks or Better", "The Matador" and "Heidelberg's Sports Bar" to name just a few.
She was a very caring woman who always gave of herself to those in need. She enjoyed shopping for shoes, going to thrift shops and caring for her family and friends. Terri also loved to go camping with her camping family Larry and Colleen Miller. When she had time, she loved to crochet and made many blankets for her family. She loved collecting anything with wolves on it and had a large collection of wolf related items. She was named "Grandma Honey" by her grandson Bryson and loved her grandchildren very much.
In the first part of August 2015, Terri was diagnosed with cancer. On October 31, 2015 at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska, Terri died of cancer and the angels came to escort her to heaven. She was a wonderful and amazing woman that touched many lives and will be missed by all that knew her.
