1940 Sep 16-Mrs. Mary LIndauer Powers died at her home in the Powers Community shortly after noon today. Mrs. Powers was born on Apr.7,1887, in Nebraska. She spent the greater part of her life in St. Francis Co. Surviving her are her husband, Tom Powers; six children, Mrs. Lestor Henson, Miss Louise Powers, Rosa Powers, Robert Powers, Donald Powers, and Fred Powers; her mother, Mrs. Rose Lindauer; three brothers, Fred, Henry and Bob Lindauer; and one sister, Mrs. John Moore. Funeral services will be tomorrow at Stevens FH by Rev. James V. Cobb of the Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in the City Cemetery.
