Mr. Curtis "Teeny Boy" Wood, age 92, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Gordon. Interment will follow at Antioch Christian Church Cemetery in Oconee.

Mr. Wood was a native of Washington County and lived most of his life in Wilkinson County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Louise Godfrey Wood; parents, Johnnie Anderson Wood and Florence Beckum Wood; sons, Marion Wood and Melvin Wood; and daughter, Margie Birchfield. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in WWII. He was a member of Snow Hill Methodist Church where he served as a deacon.

He is survived by daughters, Rosa Smith and Wanda Kennedy, both of McIntyre; sister, Evie Bowker; brother, Bert Wood, both of Griffin; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
