Robert Forsyth 66, of Clay Springs, Arizona went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2015.
Robert was born August 9, 1949 to Benjamin and Rosemary Forsyth in Detroit, Michigan.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years Jeanne Forsyth, daughter Becky Forsyth, two step sons Scott and Marty Myers, two sisters Barbara Shively and Christine Anderson, as well as his five grandchildren.
As a decorated US ARMY helicopter pilot serving in Vietnam and a DPS air rescue pilot he has been a hero to many.
After a long career in law enforcement, Robert relocated to the White Mountains with his wife where he lived out his dream of enjoying wide open spaces and taking care of his many critters. He will truly be missed.
A funeral Service will be held in Robert’s honor on Tuesday November 3, 2015 located at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 North Cave Creek Road Phoenix, AZ 85024 at 10am.
