She was a graduate of the Central High School Class of 1960 and Edmondson Business College. She was born in Chattanooga, and after 25 years in South Florida, returned here to live for the past 18 years. She was a faithful member of Concord Baptist Church and was active in the Joy Sunday School class.
She was preceded in death by her parents Pat and Fay Hayes and her brother Stan Hayes, Sr.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Edwin Moore, sons Lee (Becky) Moore of Athens, GA and Joe (Kelley) Moore of Waxhaw, NC, daughter Nikki (Erik) Hartsel of Brewton, AL, and grandchildren Patrick, Jason, Jonah, Abigail, Erin, Justin, Caitlin, Evan, Walker, Luther, and Samuel.
The funeral service will be at 12:30 pm, Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm, Monday, November 2 at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
