Kathryn S. Stephens, 90 of 137 N. 4th St., Columbia, PA died on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Lancaster Regional Hospital. She was the wife of the late Rev. William E. Stephens who preceded her in death in 1975. Born in Columbia, PA she was the daughter of the late George and Beatrice Groom Studenroth.

She retired as a Receptionist for Dr. J. David Weinberg and Dr. John Jensen. She was a very active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where she served on the Vestry and was head of the Altar Guild and was a Lay Eucharistic Minister. Her life revolved around her church.

Surviving are 2 Daughters: Carol wife of Frederick Obligado of Cape May, NJ and Jane wife of Robert Bunnell of Honesdale, PA, 7 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 5 Siblings.

A Requiem Mass will be held from St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 340 Locust St., Columbia, PA next Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 10:00AM with Rev. Fr. J. Patrick Peters officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:00AM - 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
