Olive Ruth Brooks, 84, of Indianapolis, Ind., formerly of Greenup, died Wednesday, November 11, 1992 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup. Burial was made in Greenup Cemetery.
She was born January 18, 1908, in Greenup, the daughter of Charles M. and Grace L. Holsapple Ward. She married Doyle "Mickey" Brooks in 1926; he died February 15, 1982.
She is survived by a daughter, Kay Bloomer of Taylorsville, Indiana; one grandchild; nieces and nephews.
