Miss Veiock Is Bride
Of John Geyer Cook

Miss Beulah Winona Veiock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. I. Veiock, New Brighton, became the bride of John Geyer Cook, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay D. Cook, Ridgeway, Rochester, at a pretty wedding in the First Methodist Episcopal church, New Brighton, Monday. Rev. H.B. Mansell, pastor of the church, assisted by Rev. E. Harvey Cook, brother of the groom, read the nuptial lines at 3:30 o’clock before an altar decorated with ferns and standards of peonies.

Miss Anna Kountz, Colona Heights, played the wedding music. The bride was given in marriage by her father and had as her maid of honor Miss Janet Foulis, Kittanning, Pa., a former roommate at college. Her two small flower girls were Patricia Palmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory S. Palmer, and Donna Lou Hartman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hartman, both of New Brighton. Kenneth C. Veiock, New Brighton, brother of the bride, was Mr. Cook’s best man. Chester H. Anderson and Elmer K. Roush, Rochester, ushered.

The bride was beautifully gowned in white chiffon and silk lace. Her tulle veil was held by a band of rose point and duchess lace and caught with orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of Johanna Hill roses and lilies of the valley, tied with yellow satin ribbon. Miss Foulis appeared in a gown of pink embroidered net and wore a corsage of sweetheart roses and sweetpeas. The little flower girls wore frocks of pale green organdie with hats to match. They carried sweetpeas and valley lilies.

A reception at the bride’s home for the immediate families and wedding party followed the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Cook left after the reception for points in Canada and the New England states. After June 25 they will be at home in Ridgeway, Rochester. Mrs. Cook wore a navy blue crepe ensemble with matching hat and accessories, for traveling.

The bride is graduate of Grove City College and the groom of the University of Pittsburgh.
