Dr. Samuel Brigham was the son of Capt. Samuel and Abigail (Moore) Brigham. He married twice. On Nov 24, 1747 he married Elizabeth Wood who died young. He married (2) Anna Gott, daughter of Dr. Benjamin Gott of Marlboro. Samuel died in the West Indies from Yellow Fever while serving as an Army Surgeon there. Anna remarried and is buried at Westboro, Mass.
