ETHEL R. MACPHERSON, 78, of 450 Highland Ave., a kindergarten teacher at the Salvation Army Day Care Center in South Providence for 20 years before retiring in 1985, died Friday at the Ridgewood Court Nursing Home. She was the widow of George H. MacPherson.
Born in Lincoln, a daughter of the late Robert E.A. and Gertrude (Rose) Reid, she moved to South Attleboro 50 years ago.
Mrs. MacPherson was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Lincoln, a member of its Altar Guild, and was a Sunday school teacher. She was a member of the PEAL Club. She was a member of the Homemakers Club in Lincoln, and the Attleboro Council on Aging.
She is survived by three daughters, a brother, five grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
