Milton Clark Newton, 86, of Twin Lakes Center, Burlington, died Friday, June 4, 1999, at the center.
Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
She was born in Norris, SC, to the late Dock Miles Newton and the late Alma Nalley Newton. He owned and operated City Furniture Company until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the First Wesleyan Church of Burlington.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ethel Willets Newton; sisters, Mrs. Ethel N. Childs, Miss Mary Lena Newton, Mrs. Ina N. Lovelace, Mrs. Bula N. Warren; brothers, George Thomas Newton, Joseph Isacc Newton, Samuel Carroll Newton, and Jacob Leroy Newton.
Survivors are his daughters, Mrs. Shirley N. Jones of New Port News, Va. and Mrs. Patricia N. Knowles of Chattanooga, Tenn.; sons, Mr. Michael Clark Newton of Burlington, Mr. Milton Gray Newton of Greensboro, Mr. Kenneth Miles Newton of Le High, Fla.; sisters, Mrs.
