He was employed as a Crane Operator at the Cold Spring Granite Company for 31 years, retiring in 1991. Oscar was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waite Park, and also a member of the St. Cloud Eagle's Aerie Post 622.
Oscar is survived by his wife, Irene; children, Dale (Joyce) Haskamp, Waite Park, Mary Kay (Kevin) Vanderwerf, Luxemburg, Dean (Patty) Haskamp, Waite Park, Daryl Haskamp, Waite Park, Barbara (Dan) George, Upsala; eight grandchildren; sister, Betty (Lee) Breitbach, Elrosa; brother, Julian (Mae) Haskamp, Sauk Centre; sister-in-law, Anna Mae Haskamp, Sauk Centre.
Oscar was preceded in death by a brother, Ervin.
