Haskamp, 73, who died on Thursday, November 21, 2002 at Sterling Park Health Care Center. Rev. Ronald Weyrens will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 24, 2002 at Williams Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN, and also after 9:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Eagles 622 will pray at 6:00 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Oscar was born to Henry and Emma (Imdieke) Haskamp on January 9, 1929, in Sauk Centre, MN. He married Irene Jennissen on Octobers, 1955, in the St. Paul's Catholic Church, Sauk Centre, MN. He was employed as a Crane Operator at the Cold Spring Granite Company for 31 years, retiring in 1991. Oscar was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waite Park, and also a member of the St. Cloud Eagle's Aerie Post 622.
Oscar is survived by his wife, Irene; children, Dale (Joyce) Haskamp, Waite Park, Mary Kay (Kevin) Vanderwerf, Luxemburg, Dean (Patty) Haskamp, Waite Park, Daryl Haskamp, Waite Park, Barbara (Dan) George, Upsala; eight grandchildren; sister, Betty (Lee) Breitbach, Elrosa; brother, Julian (Mae) Haskamp, Sauk Centre; sister-in-law, Anna Mae Haskamp, Sauk Centre.
