Molly Murray passed away at age 82 on January 14th 2015 after a two week battle with pneumonia.

She was born April 1st, 1932 in Herne Bay, England to Ruth Symons and William John Barham. She had an older sister, Patricia and has a younger brother, Michael. Molly served in the Royal Air Force in England before she married American serviceman, Edwin C. Murray in March 1953. Their son Wayne arrived in August 1953 and their daughter Tracey came along in 1959. Molly & Ed and their family traveled the US and England during Ed’s long career in the US Air Force, finally retiring in Hawaii in July 1972. Molly had many jobs over the years, but her first love was jewelry and working with precious gems. In 1981 Ed and Molly moved from Hawaii to Utah to be nearer to Wayne and Tracey. After a short time in Salt Lake City they moved to Stansbury Park, in Tooele County where they were both very happy. Molly was active in Eastern Star and supported Ed in his activities as a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner. They took time off to visit family and friends in their RV, enjoying travel & the open road. Ed continued to work at the Dugway Proving Grounds as a guard until his death in 1990. Wayne died in March 2002 at the age of 49. In 2010 Molly relocated to Utah Valley to be closer to her daughter & her family, ending up in Santaquin, Utah where she resided at Seasons of Santaquin until her death.

She is survived by her daughter Tracey & her husband Mike Hacking and their children Christine (Hacking) Michalczuk & Michael Hacking and 3 great grandkids, Joyce, Joseph and Andrew Michalczuk, Molly Ann Murray of Magna, Utah, her daughter-in-law, Michael Barham (England) and Sarah & Bill Hagwood (sister & brother in law) & their children of Franklinton NC, also numerous nieces and nephews in both the US and England.
