Leah H. Barber, 72, of 1 Franklin Square, Syracuse,N.Y., died on Friday 14September1990, at Saint Joseph Hospital, where she had been a patient since 30June1990.
She was born in Syracuse,N.Y. & lived most of her life here.She had taught school here in Syracuse. Her Husband Richard Barber died on 11February1959,( He is buried in the Valley Cemetery,Syracuse,N.Y. )
Surving are two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Mitchell of Snye,Canada & Persicilla Joyce Woolley of Clay,N.Y., & two stepsons, Richard & James Barber of Lakeport,N.Y. & one brother Bernard Bruin of Syracuse,N.Y. 12 grandchildren: nine great grandchildren: & several nieces & nephews.
Services will be 11Am ( Monday ) at Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, Phoenix,N.Y. The Rev Robert Carter officiating. Burial will be Phoenix Rural Cemetery, Phoenix,N.Y.
Calling Hrs will be 2-4PM &7-9PM on 16September1990, at the Funeral home at 919 Main Street.,Phoenix, N.Y.
