Audrey E. (Rodgers) Butts, age 89, died on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Stevens Point Care Center Atrium where she had resided for the past two weeks. She was born on July 13, 1926 in Runnells, IA to Fred and Mary (Hammer) Rodgers. Audrey married Leo Hatcher and was later divorced. She then moved to Wisconsin and married Cleo Butts. Audrey was a very hard worker as a farm wife but was best known as the tough but fair waitress at the Plainfield Skelly Truck Stop during the challenging 11 to 7 shift. She will also be remembered in her younger years for her singing - most of all her yodeling. Audrey loved watching sports on TV which included golf, tennis, LA Lakers and the Packers, BEFORE the Brett Favre incident.

Audrey is survived by her daughters: Carol (Tom) Wall, Linda Golla; grandchildren: Haruko (Chris Studinski) Sagami, Candi (Scott) Polzin, Todd Severns, Justin Wall; great grandchildren: Nathan Keenlance, Jorden Bertotto, Nikki Polzin, Tayler and Chase Studinski, Gavin Love; step grandchildren: Shelley (Pete) Kovach, Brett (Stacey) Bender, Chip Bender; great great grandchild: Brooklynn Bertotto. She was preceded in death by her son: Richard Hatcher; step daughter: Virginia Bender: sister: Betty Cummings; brothers: John Lewis, Harold Rodgers; granddaughter: Lisa Severns-Tank and son-in-law: Bill Golla.

Memorial services will be held at 7PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at St Paul Catholic Church, Plainfield with Deacon Jim Trzinski and private family burial in Plainfield cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at church on Tuesday from 5PM until the time of services at 7PM.
