Michael Dean Turnbull, 33, of Dallas, died Sunday at a Dallas hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul United Methodist Church with Dr. David Hamblin officiating, assisted by Dr. Ed Lang and the Rev. Steve Stephens. Burial will be in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.

Mr. Turnbull waws born in Abilene and moved to Dallas in 1984. He was a 1974 graduate of Cooper High School and received a degree from McMurry College in 1978. He graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in February of 1981 to become a licensed mortician.

He was a member of Alpha Psi Omega Fraternity and an Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts of America.

He worked several years in the business office at Baylor Hospital in Dallas and a number of years as a licensed mortician at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Homes, Inc.

Survivors include his parents, Dr. Marshall and Annadell Turnbull of Abilene; two sisters, Lora Brinkman of Abilene and Marsha Harris of Tilden; a brother, Andrew Turnbull of Abilene; maternal grandmother, Migg Blankenship of Abilene; four nieces; and three nephews.
Memorials may be made to Hospice or Baylor University Medical Center.
