Tave, as most all of us called her, was born in, and lived at, her home in Ravenna Park for almost 80 years. She was a graduate student from the UW School of Music and cherished her musical passion throughout her life, especially while playing her piano. She worked for our father, Dr. Joe Legrand, as a nurse for many years, though earlier in the 30's and 40's as an organist at Sacred Heart Church in Seattle. Tave is survived by her sister, Jean, as well as her nieces, nephews and grand nephews. Recitation of the Rosary will be Monday, August 22nd, at 7 p.m. and the Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, August 23rd, at 11 a.m. BOTH at Christ the King Church. Interment, Holyrood Cemetery.
