Rosary for Mrs. Mary C. Forthoffer, 79, of 1741 N.E. Naomi Place, will be said at 7 o'clock this evening in Hoffner's Fisher-Kalfus chapel. Requiem Mass will be said at 10 o'clock tomorrow at Blessed Sacrament Church, with burial in Holyrood. Mrs. Forthoffer died Saturday at her home of a heart ailment.
Born in Blooming Prairie, Minn., Mrs. Forthoffer resided in Port Townsend before moving here in 1907. She and her husband, August E., had been married 55 years.
Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Octavia Forthoffer and Mrs. Joseph Legrand; a sister, Mrs. Agnes McKenzie, and a brother, Milton J. Sather, all of Seattle; three grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
