Kelley McDaniel passed away October 27, 2015 at the age of 55 after a brief and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Kelly was a graduate of Dallas County High School and Pensacola Junior College. She worked in radiology at hospitals, most recently at Vaughn Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie William McDaniel; brother, David Thomas McDaniel and grandparents, Perk and Becky Davis.

Kelly loved her family, friends, music and Alabama Football. She will be remembered for her straight forward wit and friendship.

She is survived by her daughter, Danielle R. Welch; mother, Nina D. McDaniel; a granddaughter who is expected any day now and her beloved companions, Layla, JoJo, Sophie and Sam.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Eaton officiating. Interment will follow in Plantersville Christian Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jason McDaniel, Sean Baxley, Ronnie Terry, Donnie Boozer, Robbie Bennett and Walter Hayden, III.

Honorary pallbearers are her coworkers in the radiology department at the hospital.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Westwood Baptist Church, the Vaughn Regional Medical Center Radiology Department and all of the friends who have supported them during their difficult time.
