Eleanor Margaret Kish-Thompson-Jacobs-Klein, 79, of DeFuniak Springs, FL, passed away Aug. 6, 2006, in DeFuniak Springs.

Eleanor Margaret Kish was born Feb. 17, 1927 in North Brunswick, Middlesex County, New Jersey to John Michael Kish and Esther Molnar-Kish. Her family eventually moved from New Jersey to Toledo, Ohio.

After her husband George Jacobs passed, Eleanor remarried and relocated to Florida with the name Eleanor Klein. Eleanor had been a lifelong resident of DeFuniak Springs for over 20 years. She was catholic by faith and a member of St. Margaret;s Catholic Church. Eleanor Kish-Thompson-Jacobs-Klein was predeceased by her father and mother; her 1st husband John R Thompson, her 2nd husband George W. Jacobs and her 3rd husband John Klein; one daughter, "Judy" Judith Ann Thompson-Miller, and one grandson, John Taylor. Elli Klein is survived by her son, John R. Thompson, Jr. of Lakeland, FL; two twin daughters, Linda Mae Thompson-Ortman and Dianna Thompson-McComb-Knavel, both of Gibsonton, FL; twelve grandchildren, Johnny, Tory, Jean Lee, Danelle, Christopher, Tyler, Matthew, Donna, Anna, Eddie, Jill, and Janet. Great Aunt Ellie's parents immigrated from Austria Hungry around 1911. It was thought her parents were married before coming to the United States, but when her father registered for the draft (WWI) his listed himself as single. Her family resided in New Brunswick, Middlesex, New Jersey before relocating to Toledo, Ohio. Her father and mother lived on Greenwood Street on the East Side of Toledo just north of the Sun Oil Refinery for many years. Her mother died in 1972 and her father lived to be 92 when he died in 1986.

Aunt Ellie had two sisters and a brother. Her sisters were: Emma M. Kish (#96043039) and Regina M. "Reggie" Kish-Robertson-Culbertson. Her brother was Ernest C "Ernie" Kish (#96043039).

Aunt Ellie (Eleanor Margaret KISH) was first married to John R Thompson, then to George W. JACOBS. Her third husband was John KLEIN.

Aunt Ellie was proceeded in death by her brother (Ernest) and her sisters (Regina and Emma).
