Jimmy C. Garrett, 79 of Spiro, OK, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015.
He was born on December 6, 1935 to the late Charles and Mildred Garrett.

He was a U. S. Air Force veteran, retired from Rheem Manufacturing and a member of the Spiro Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Higgins and Shirley Huber; two nephews, Terry Cowan and Buddy Cowan and a brother-in law, James Thomas.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 26, 2015 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at the Spiro City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife Betty,to whom he was married for 48 years, of the home; a daughter, Milene Cyr of Nevada; three sons, Paul Scott McKee of Nevada, Lynn Garrett of Fort Smith and Lee Garrett of Arizona and a sister-in-law, Shirley Thomas of Poteau, OK. He is also survived by several grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be his nephews; Dewayne Hayden, Dean Williams
