She was born in Marianna, a daughter of Elizabeth Kehl and Edward McCardle.
After her children were grown, Mrs. Morris worked for many years at West Penn Power Co.
She was the beloved wife for 67 years of Walter George Morris, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters and their husbands, Georgette and John DeLassus of Avon Lake, Ohio, Suzette and Randy Birch of Tulsa and Rebecca and Bill Hopper of Alameda, Calif.; three grandchildren, Gabriel Hopper, Maya Hopper Rudolph and Jeremy Hopper, all of California state; two sisters, Ruth Carock of Donalds, S.C., and Mary Lappe of Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome to attend a committal service to be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 20, in the chapel of Washington Cemetery, with the Rev. Keith Lohr officiating.
