Janice E. Wheeler, 88, of Hampstead, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Long View Nursing Home, Manchester. Born April 22, 1927, she was the daughter of the late George and Kathryn Sharrer Cole. She was the wife of Robert Irvin Wheeler who died in 1996.
She was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church and life member of Hampstead Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and camping.
Surviving are sons, R. Leslie Wheeler, Donald A. Wheeler, and Gary F. Wheeler and a daughter, Pamela Riley, all of Hampstead. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Cole and a grandson, W. Irving Wheeler.
The family will receive friends at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead, on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Art Monroe officiating. Interment will be in Hampstead Cemetery.
