Son of Luciano and Antoinette Fasino Marro, he had lived most of his life in Lambertville.
He retired in 1973 from P.S.E. & G., where he had worked for more than 40 years.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He had four honorable discharges and served in the 1st Engineers at Ft. Dupont, Del.; the 72nd Bombardment Squadron at Luke Field, Hawaii; a torpedoman in the Navy for WWII and a pipe fitter during the Korean trouble. He attended torpedo school at Great Lakes and advanced torpedo school at Keyport, Wash.
He is survived by his wife, Ida Bush Marro; four daughters, three sons, three sisters, Margaret Helton of Trenton, Mary Lansing of Creamridge and Martha Marro of Trenton; one brother, Charles Marro of Lambertville, and two grandchildren.
