Mary Jardin Dane, is the daughter of Felipe Jardin and Mauricia Guerrero. Felipe Jardin migrated from the region of San Cristobal, Bangar, La Union, Philippines. She attended school at Waipahu High School. Most people pronounced and spelled her last name as HARDIN.

Her and her sisters (Francis & Faye) sang in there younger years in the cantina entertaining the military soldiers stationed on the island of Oahu. Mary had one of the most beautiful singing voices. When she sung, people stopped and just listened in amazement! Words can't explain the beautiful sound that came from her singing.

She married Frederick C. Dane, October 28, 1952. She was preceded in death by her 4 sisters (Eleanora, Holina, Susanna, & Augustina) & parents. She is survived by her two sisters Francis Gallyer (Stephen) & Feliciana DeGuzman (Aquilino), children: Catherine Hardin should be JARDIN, Ramona Fleming, Lorraine Boyer, & Frederick C. Dane, JR. And 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.

In her teen years she was crowned Miss Mindanao. And, retired from the San Jose Unified School District where she worked at the San Jose Regional Vocational Center.
