Grady Johnson, 83, of Stafford, TX, peacefully passed away with his family by his side, on October 27th, 2015, after a brief illness. He was born in Rosedale, Mississippi, on April 11th, 1932, to Frank and Rosie Johnson. Grady is survived by his wife, Jeanette, and two children, Brenda and Debra. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Glen, Brandon, and Melody; 10 great grandchildren; sister Nell; and niece Sheila. He is preceded in death by his son Buddy, parents Frank and Rosie, brother Edward, and sister Gladys.

Grady served in the Korean War. He and Jeanette moved to Stafford in 1968, where he would spend the rest of his life. After a long career in the sand and gravel business, he spent his retirement years spending time with his beloved cats, running his flea market business and cherishing the time he got to spend with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.

A graveside service celebrating his life will be Thursday, October 29, 2015, at Morton Cemetery, Richmond, TX, with Dr. John Reid officiating.
