Sherri was a devoted mother and spent much of her time raising her four children, running [and chasing] them all over town from one activity to the next. When she wasn't doting on her kids, Sherri could be found working in her yard, tending to her flowers, or decorating her home. No one had a green thumb like she did.
She loved all OSU sports, loved watching the Dallas Cowboys, and later in life, developed a passion for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Sherri also loved traveling and spending time with her grandkids.
Sherri is survived by her four children: son, Todd Summers and his wife Robin, of Edmond; daughter Staci Summers and her fiancé, John Williamson, of Guthrie; daughter Tiffani Strange and her husband, Mark of Guthrie; and daughter Kelli Ryals and her husband Mark, of Colorado Springs, CO; 12 grandchildren and the spouses: Meagan (Jed), Tanner (Jessica), Zachary, Madison, Lacie (Billy), Bobby Paul, Denver, Brittani, Jantzen, Caden, Selah, and Greyson; 4 great-grandchildren: Keller, Aireona, Willie, and Hayden; sister Vicki Crow of Oklahoma City; brother Mike and his wife, Nan, of Edmond; brother-in-law H.B. Simpson of Winchester, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Brad; mother, Margaret; husband, Charlie Summers; sister, Jackie, and two great-granddaughters, Creason and Nora.
Her memorial service will be on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Hahn Cook Funeral Home in Oklahoma City, interment at Fairlawn Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
Arrangements under the direction of Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Directors, Oklahoma City, OK.
