Heather Lea Holt
1967 ~ 2015
Heather Holt, age 47, passed away suddenly and quickly on Sunday, October 25th. We are heartbroken at our unexpected loss yet take comfort knowing she is with the Savior and beside her late mother, Sydney Richards. Heather lit up a room with her happy loving, sweet personality. She always left people feeling better for having talked with or having met her. She touched many lives and was loved everywhere she went. Most important to her was her family.
She was a devoted wife to her husband David and a doting mother to her children Madison, Ashton, and Brandon. She is also survived by her father Bill Gomes and his wife Molly. Her in-laws, Thomas and Bonnie Holt considered her a daughter, as did Molly. Heather will be missed by all her sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews. She was adored by her friends, in addition to the kids she worked with, as a substitute teacher, and her children's' friends who fondly referred to her as "Mama Holt." We will miss her deeply, but are comforted to know we have an extra guardian angel watching over us.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heather Holt Memorial Fund at Mountain America Credit Union.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 29th from 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary located at 8090 South State Street in Midvale.
Funeral Services will be Friday, October 30th at 11 a.m. with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. at the LDS Stake Center located at 575 East 13800 South in Draper.
