Lee Charles was the twin of Leo H WASHBURN.
Lee worked as a machinist for the railroad in Battle Creek.
On Apr 4, 1942 he was taking an engine into the roundhouse for repairs and was on the outside of the engine. The engineer didn't realize that the roundhouse doors were closed and smashed into it. Lee died two days later as a result of his injuries.
