Walter Smith Hunter, Jr., age 93, was a graduate of Ramsey High School and Auburn University. He served in the US Navy during WWII as a parachute Rigger Second Class. Walter and his brother Robert owned and operated Hunter Furniture for over 60 years. He was a member of Woodlawn Methodist Church for 67 years, where he served in several leadership positions, including Board of Stewarts and Superintendent of Sunday School. He was a member of the Lions Club, Sertoma Club, a founding member of Downtown Action Committee and a volunteer at Woodlawn Food Bank.

Richard A. Hunter (Meri); and Larry C. Hunter (Anita);
