Mrs. Paula M. White, age 57, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Massac Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.
Paula was born on August 1, 1958 to Carnie and Ella (Yager) McCandless. She married William White in July of 1994. Paula was in a pool and softball league and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Paula is survived by her husband of 21 years, William White; 1 daughter, Karla Noel; one son, David White and wife Courtney; four grandchildren, Christopher Flach, Tyler Flach, Lucas Stahl, Madalyn Owens, and Rosalie Mae White on the way; two sisters, Kay Dunn and Faye Cameron; two brothers, Roger McCandless and Lee McCandless; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; one great-great niece; one great-great nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Carnie E. McCandless Jr.; one son-in-law, Daniel Noel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to the City National Bank Relay for Life 423 Ferry Street Metropolis, IL 62960.
